Best Pool Movies
If you’re slowly developing carpal tunnel and you need to take a minute off to regroup and relax it may be time to turn on your Direct satellite TV and watch some of the greatest pool movies ever made. There are a lot of them, but here are our favorites:
The Hustler – The most classic pool movie of all time, The Hustler came out in 1961 but still rings true today. It stars a young Paul Newman as an up and coming star and will teach you a thing or two about betting your limit.
The Color of Money – If you loved The Hustler you’ll love this movie. It stars Tom Cruise as a young hotshot and Paul Newman’s back for some more action – it’s got the drama and all the trick shots you could ask for which makes it one of our top picks of all time.
Stickmen – Though it was released to little fanfare in 2001, this modern day pool drama offers a lot in the way of drama and money. If you like thrillers, this is your best bet.
